I ' M  D A N I E L L E.

This is my creative space. I’m a foster &

adoptive mama and mostly run on

way-too-sweet coffee, dr pepper, and sour

patch watermelons I eat while hiding from my

son. I’m an avid list maker, Hobby Lobby

enthusiast, Netflix binger, and will quote Parks

and Recreation all day long. I want to be one

of those cool people that walks into the animal

shelter and adopts every dog there. Oh, and

when you leave a dresser or table on the side of the road, you can bet I’ll be there trying to stuff it into my trunk with Joanna Gaines type visions dancing in my head.

Most days you can find me on my front porch swing or in my crafty nook making something special for someone else who found this ‘About Me’ page just as charming as you do now. And let’s face it, you’d probably also find me in some local coffee shop or chain drive through because I seriously need all. the. coffee.

A little background about me. I'm a proud, racing-loving, corn field-wandering, basketball cheering, Hoosier through and through. Grew up here, went to college here, and I'm building my life here. #midwestisbest I spent some time loving on borrowed hearts through foster care while fixer-uppering my little yellow house and chasing two crazy rescue pups through the backyard. Now, my fiance and I are raising our little family in this still-yellow house plus one more pooch (major dog people here).

My field of study at Indiana University focused on Event Management and Business. My day job has me planning events - in the past this involved fast cars and old-fashioned Indiana tradition executing the largest single day sporting event in the world but currently has me trading in my candy stripes for some Butler Bulldog gear. Hand lettering and calligraphy has given me a creative outlet and a way to create the things I wish existed. Mixing these loves together has brought me - and now, you (!) -  here!

I love to bring joy and laughter to those around me, hug the hurting, kiss the broken, befriend the lost, love the lonely, just like Jesus. I want to be somebody who makes everybody feel like a somebody. Being creative and sharing that creativity with others is something that I am most passionate about. I want to collaborate with other individuals who love life and love living it just as much as I do. And, hey, if we inspire a couple of people along the way, I would say we’re gonna be okay.
