Q: WHY SHOULD I HIRE A WEDDING PLANNER?

A: You’re engaged! Congrats, now enjoy this time as it doesn’t last for long. Yes, you will be heavily involved in all of the planning and decision making processes, we promise! However, as the average wedding takes 250 man hours to plan, it’s our job to listen and learn exactly what the two of you envision and cut this planning time down substantially. Wedding planning is our profession and we are experts at what we do. We provide you with options that we’ve researched, suggestions (if wanted), and ease of mind that timelines are being met.

On the day of your wedding, the only thing you should be focusing on is your partner, yourself, and your loved ones. You shouldn’t be worried about if the signing pen is on your ceremony table or, how to stop a groomsman’s speech from rambling on - we’re managing all these details and you know that we have your back.

 


Q: DAY OF VS. MONTH OF WEDDING COORDINATOR?

A: In the wedding industry, they are actually one and the same. In order to properly manage the day of your wedding, we’ll need a month in advance to have everything we need in order. If the rental company shows up an hour late, we’ll need to have their contact details on hand and not asking your Maid of Honour where to find it. If the rental company delivers 10 less tables then agreed upon, we’ll need their contract on hand to prove this to the delivery crew.

If what you’re needing is help with set up and tear down of the ceremony and reception venues, we’ve got you covered! This would be a part of our a la carte services and does not constitute as month of wedding coordination.

Q: MY VENUE HAS A SITE COORDINATOR. CAN I STILL BENEFIT FROM A WEDDING PLANNER/COORDINATOR?
A: Typically, venue coordinators have the job of overseeing the wedding details that are directly related to the venue & their staff. A wedding coordinator works only for you to make every aspect run smoothly, acts as a liaison to all your vendors and family, sends out a timeline prior, make sure you are having a great time celebrating and to ensure that your vision has become a reality.  As a professional wedding planner, our services supplement the services offered by your venue coordinator.

 


Q: DO YOU RECEIVE COMMISSION OR TAKE KICK BACKS FROM VENDORS?

A: No. We do this so you can be sure that we're only referring vendors we truly know and love. In fact, if vendors do offer us a referral kickback, we try to pass this along to you, providing you with a discount.

Q: WE’RE ON A TIGHT BUDGET BUT WE WANT TO HIRE A WEDDING PLANNER, IS THIS POSSIBLE?

A: Of course! We’re happy to work with all budgets. Although we do have a minimum fee for each of our services, we’re happy to modify services as needed to meet budgets.
